NACCHO's Health in All Policies Technical Assistance Request Application

The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Environmental Health Center is now accepting applications for technical assistance support for local health department Health in All Policies (HiAP) initiatives. Our goal is to help health departments implement Health in All Policies initiatives tailored to their communities.

NACCHO defines HiAP as a change in the systems framework that determines how decisions are made and implemented by local, state, and federal governments to ensure that policy decisions have neutral or beneficial impacts on health determinants. For more information about HiAP strategies and tactics please view this factsheet.

Applications for technical assistance will be reviewed on a rolling basis and applicants will be notified within three weeks of application submission.  Applications will be accepted through May 15, 2018

If selected, applicants will be asked to participate in a consultation phone call with NACCHO, where we will work together to identify technical assitance needs and next steps.

All recipients of technical assistance will be asked to complete a post-assessment and evaluation of the program.

Your privacy is very important to us. This information will not be used for anything other than selecting participants for technical assistance and evaluating the success of the program.

If you have any questions or need assistance completing this form, please contact Bridget Kerner at bkerner@naccho.org.
