Apply Today for 2017–18 Student Project Funding

Are you a public health graduate student looking to bolster your academic experience with a funded student project that tackles real-world issues?

The Northwest Public Health Training Center at NWCPHP is now accepting graduate student applications for field placement and collaborative project opportunities in Washington, Alaska, Idaho, and Oregon. Approximately 20 proposals will be funded up to $1,500 each during the 2017–18 academic year. These projects help students gain practical, hands-on experience in a public health practice setting, and allow them to apply theory and lessons learned from the classroom.

Applications received during the first two weeks of the quarter will receive a priority review and notification of award decision during the third week of the quarter. After the priority period each quarter, applications are considered on a rolling basis.

Visit the Northwest Public Health Training Center for more details on how to apply and to see examples of previously funded projects. Students with identified projects can request sample project plans and budgets; contact Gita Krishnaswamy with your request and a brief description of your project.
